Well done on the fivers Steve!! I think that another obstacle for us powerlifters to overcome is the addictiveness of doing singles and doubles, and even triples. My mentality was usually, well, if I avoid reps I'll be able to lift heavier and heavier on that session.

Additionally, I never see the Crew doing rep work. I reckon they are so set in their ways, especially with gear.

At any rate, also good to see you progressing steadily every day!

Thanks guys! The rep work keeps getting easier.

September 6th, 2013

The rep work keeps getting easier and easier. I am starting to feel strong again. Today was a high energy blast-o-thon. The intensity kept building until it hit a frenzy during deathlifts.

Everything is feeling ridiculously light, as it should. 2 weeks left of volume, then I move on to intensity work. I will feel out my maxes then and add weight as appropriate.

Cycle 1, Week 2 - 65% Volume Week

Squats
350 x 5

Bench Press
245 x 5

Deadlifts
