Well, they have also helped me recover from Tuesday's heavy squat session really fast. They really are the next best thing to steroids, as their website claims. I can now understand why many guys choose to juice. I never will, but I get it. My diet and supplements have good control of my inflammation on an every day basis. Add Ark 3 into the mix and I'm off to the races.

460 felt, relatively speaking of course, like an empty bar. Never before has it felt that way. I am now really confident 500 will be owned soon, when I can say that about 460.

This session was worthy of a Squatter jig 'n Jive after the final set!

CREW BENCH DAY

for being back with the Crew. They were like my wingmen today, and because of it I was able to get 6 reps across the board for all 4 working sets. Really pleased with the proceedings today. I was able to remain tight for all reps in all sets, even the 185X12. This is huge for me. It has taken me a whole year to learn how to get tight and stay tight. I think it's the hardest part of the technique to learn.

Forearm felt OK, except on pull ups. david fixed it up and said it was 100% on Friday. However, I seemed to hurt it reaching for a watermelon at Costco right after my physio session. I just said to myself "seriously" and then dropped an F-bomb(s). It seems to be in a slightly different area of the forearm tho. Becaause of this, I thought I would roll with my scheduled 4X6, but with no heavy singles. heavy singles would be a bit too risky today. progress was made because 225 last week presented a huge problem for my forearm. Didn't feel any pain this week, and managed to get all 6 reps for all 4 sets. I think this in itself is progression, as I don't recall ever being able to do a 4X6 with 225 before, especially so smoothly. 5th and 6th reps were a challenge, but by no means grinders.

Nice work Jimbo. 500 deadlift right around the corner. Take care of that forearm, but strong benching nonetheless.

Love the Mustang pics! My dream car would be the Shelby GT500 for sure. Well, a Cobra would be even better, but I'm assuming I'll never have a shot at one of those! The Mustangs are at least possible, if not exactly likely.

Had to rewatch the bench vid as I only counted 5 reps the first time. Figured it might have something to do with the exchange rate between Canada and US, but I counted 6 the second time Nice work Jim! And that's pretty impressive to be able to stay tight for 12 reps !!

Excellent Bench session Squat man. I liked the guy coaching, "Patience, patience, one at a time." I need to remind myself of that in the future. You killed it!! Nice Job!!
