Wednesday recovery
Sore as hell today! Snatch grip Deads, killed my traps. Legs are also sore, tough for me to get moving today. Took it pretty easy

Sled walk
Plus 35 on pavement x about 1 mile

Plus 35 on grass x about 3/4 mile

Finished up with dynamic and mobility drills. Planning to roll out later on my sore spots. Needed a break from sprints, this only took about 35 mins so it should help with this soreness.

Rolling is going to hurt!

Thanks guys, feeling better.

Rolling had me nearly in tears haha. Got the lacrosse ball into some really tight spots. Gotta love it

Thursday OHP
Solid session today, best my overheads have felt in weeks. I think I need to cut down on the sprints and watch my form. I am allowing my upper body to tighten which is killing my shoulders.

Standing OHP
95 x 5
125 x 3
145 x 2
165 x 1
180 x 7
Close to a pr, I also think taking smaller jumps helped a lot.

Barbell row
135 x 10
185 x 10
225 x 10
225 x 2 x 8
These felt great, 225 started to get sloppy so I reduced the reps

High incline with Swiss bar
115 x 10
165 x 6
205 x 2 x 3 pr
115 x 2 x 12 moved grip into closest handles, hit the tris hard
These are starting to feel solid, stabilizers are getting built up.

Fat Pushdowns
160 x 15
180 x 15
200 x 3 x 12

Lateral raise
12 x 15
15 x 15
20 x 3 x 12

Reduced volume a bit today, I think this is where workouts need to stay. Done in about an hour kept moving and stayed fresh.

Last day of stack, final review tomorrow.

Default Purus Labs Final Review

Once again to say thanks to the guys at Purus Labs for the opportunity log this stack. Ran D-pol, Muscle Marinade and Slin shot. Overall these are great products and I highly recommend any of them as stand alone products or as a stack.

D-Pol
Love this product they key for me was to take this about 60 minutes prior to taking Muscle Marinade with a small meal. My favorite was a shake and a little bit of cereal. About 40 minutes later I would start to feel a bit of an energy boost and really get focused in on my workouts. It also enhanced the "pump." I felt a greater sense of aggression in the gym, I really went in and attacked. This product gave me just crazy focus. After about 2 weeks of taking this I had a slight decrease in libido.

As a stand alone, I would give this product and 8 but as part of the stack it gets a 10. By itself there a slight increase in energy and pumps, but not as powerful as a pre workout. But a very solid test booster, with no side effects.

Muscle Marinade
I can not say enough good things about this product. This is the perfect product for me, lots of focus, not a ton of pump but enough for me. I will rate this product in a few of the common ratings for a pre-workout.

Energy: 9/10, this is a very clean energy. But if you are someone that likes the crazy caffeine, cracked out feeling; you will not get that from this product. The energy lasted through my workout with no crash.
Focus: 10/10, when combined with d-pol there was nothing that could distract me in the gym. I knew what I had to do when I got in the gym and just killed.
Pump: 7/10, the pump was there and definitely enhanced. But it is not a crazy pump. This is perfect for me because I am a strength athlete so the pump really does not matter.
Taste:9/10, Fresh Fruit flavor is good. But I will be honest, I do not much care about the flavor. It is not the strongest, which is good. A nice refreshing, fruit punch.
Mixability: 9/10, mixes up good but sometimes I felt there was a little left over in the bottom of the shaker.

Overall when combined with d-pol I give this product a 10. My workouts were just through the roof. Training just get progressing and getting better. I was excited to go the gym everyday because I knew it would be better than the day before. I will definitely be using Muscle Marinade again.

Slinshot
This was kind of the sleeper product for me. I was unsure about it, but the product does exactly what is says. I took slinshot with my post workout meal which is typically both high in protein and carbs. About 30 minutes after my meals, I would feel a slight pump and my muscles felt very full and tight. Also, I noticed that when I took slinshot with a huge greasy meal , I did not have the same bloated feeling. Felt like I could eat anything with no problems, my body just sucked up and used it. Definitely think this product helped with recovery.

Stack Overall
I loved this stack, over the last month my workouts have been the best in years. I have been so focused and made serious progression. I hit a lot of big PRs for me. I felt focused every time I took this stack. I will definitely be running these products again and I recommend them to anyone looking for a slight edge in the gym.

My plan right now is take a break from the stack for amount a month or a little longer and then I would like to run an 8 week cycle of d-pol with muscle marinade. The combination of those two products just blows my mind.
