Well starting 3rd week of carb nite, hate to say it, but I think I'm over it, all of it. I think all of Kiefers work is based on gimmicks to sell books. You can't lose weight by cutting out a macro nutrient or manipulating it. The books promise carb gluttony but when you go to their forums they say "oh you can't eat like that, you'll gain primarily fat." At this point its going to take a big saving grace to bring me back but I think I've had it.

Yup going to 35/35/30. At maintenance and focus on adding pounds to lifts.

Good call brother. No need to keep going if its nothing special. I CN proponents claim the keto diet "supresses" hunger allowing them to eat without feeling like they're dieting/going crazy.

I think carb back loading can build muscle. However, so could a normal diet with all the macros. I will keep some of what I like, the shakes I use, hwc in coffee, dextrose and high GI carbs post workout. Cbl does have merit. Log closed.
