I apologize if I overlooked or misunderstood, but can someone tell what rep range u shoot for on the first set when it says 3(25)? Also, do you go for failure on each set and how much rest between sets? Thanks.

You do as many reps as possible for each set, stopping a set when your form breaks down, or when you might fail on the next rep. When you hit 25 reps total (or above) for those 3 sets, you add weight the next time you perform that lift.

Start with a weight that is on the conservation side, meaning you are pretty sure you can do more than 25 reps over the course of 3 sets.

I am not strict with rest. I always tell folks to rest until they feel mentally and physically ready for the next set, be in 30 seconds or 4 minutes.

You have to play with rest time. I used to rest 4 or 5 minutes between sets and I'm noticing I'm having a better response to a 30 second to 2 minute rest now.
