This is simply my opinion on running, not necessarily any science here, but from being in the Army I did my fair share. I don't think the benefits outweigh the damage to your bones and joints, especially long didstance running, and I'm not talking temporary injuries I mean irreparable damage to your skeleton. Just my $0.02.
