I've never been able to get comfortable with it. The grips are too far apart for deadlifts, and I always end up using even worse form (more strain on the lower back) when I try to use it compared to a conventional deadlift. It's also really hard to get an even grip with heavier weights. The thing always wants to lean forwards or backwards.
But I'm sure it's useful. Just not for me, lol. Anyone else have these issues or am I the exception?
