OHP 3 sets: 20 rep goal

Nice session today. With OHP, the first rep went up fairly quickly and threw me back on my heels, and as I got myself back into position, with weight overhead, I felt a little something in the upper inside of my shoulder blade area. So I went for more and it felt weird so I shut the set down. I stretched and rolled the area for several minutes, then after a 10 min. break I went back at it.


It has been three full cycles of the full body set-up without a deload, so I am contemplating one next week. We shall see.

I almost didn't do any pressing today due to some discomfort in my delts, which I first thought a poor sleeping position brought on, but I am wondering if the addition of OHP is causing it, or perhaps I just need to give my connective tissue a rest and do a deload.
