It's a lifestyle choice, mate. Not one you (or anyone) must make, generally speaking. So it's a choice you've made... right?
Then you need to make peace with said choice, and all that it brings.
But all said and done, it's a damn fine choice to make, in my opinion. Whatever it takes to make it work for you and your goals, in my opinion, it would be worth doing... well, within reason.
