10/11/13- My family and I are on vacation in Gatlinburg, Tn for a bit. I found a gym to workout at for a day fee, so I hit it this morning. Today was leg day. This was more of a health club than the prison basement-type gym I usually workout at. Had to use a regular squat rack instead of the power rack I am used to. Was a learning experience.
Squats-Did the same 5lb progression as last week. It was easier than last week so I will start 5lbs heavier on next week's squat session.
Deadlifts- My grip is severely limiting my weights here. I went to the gym this morning and forgot my gym log (which contains my straps as well).
275x3,3- my grip nearly gave out on the second set at 275, so I called it a day there. Gonna have to do some extra grip work on the side.
Tomorrow will be chest/triceps day. I usually train them on Monday, but I am getting the rare chance to workout with my cousin who lives 500 miles away (the whole family just met in the middle for a vacation/reunion medley), so I am hitting them a couple days early.
