It's a long road. I started using nothing and it caught up to me. I say start now. You don't need to use a heavy wrap. You can use a RDC wrap, which I talk about in one of my recent videos.

A little support will help down the road.

I used to live with wrist, palm and hamstring strains. Even with just a little support they went away.

Each sport should allow for a reasonable degree of protection for the lifters. That is why I am pro-wrap.
