Default a good written by my friend/coach Ron Partlow highly recommended.

Ron has been in the industry 25 years and is highly sought out prep coach in Canada and also has a lot of international clients. He has been around for the evolution of weight training and nutrition from the 80s till now. Ron has placed 2nd at a national level 8 times chasing the procard. A Canadian record he likes to joke about.

This is a great read.
