Yeah, I just did some today and it's all about focus for me....solid footing, pinching shoulder blades together, etc. I think lats will over power the move if you don't visualize all back muscles pulling...
Although, do what works for you....you may prefer explosive -or- you can alternate -or- use lighter, stricter reps for warm-up, etc...
