I don't know if this counts as PAP, but a lot of lifters are familiar with the enhanced performance on their back-off sets. Quite often, I've hit rep PBs after I've done a very heavy single, especially on deadlifts
I haven't figured out if the "post-activation" part only relates to explosive training, or and performance training in general. I thought about back-off sets too when I first read this, simply because of how light the weight feels due to CNS stimulation.
