World's Strongest 14 Year Old

Got this in an email today, I thought it was a pretty great video and something to share.

I talk to a lot of people that believe that powerlifting or lifting in general at a young age will be harmful to your health, so it is nice to see a family taking the other stance.

Pretty awesome. Kid has great genetics. Maybe the next Eric Lilliebridge?

I saw this posted on facebook, believe it or not people were bashing his strength. Someone even mentioned that E Lillibridge squatted 500 raw this age? Some ignorant idiot even posted "oh yes lets brag about world records where there is no class and no real competition"

Its awesome though.

Gotta love internet heroes. I'm pretty sure I saw a pic of Eric when he was around 13. Pretty skinny kid if I remember right.

If this kid here starts eating and keeps going hard, he's going to be a beast by his late teens. Add in a little AAS in his early 20's and he'll be on the world stage if he wants to.

Whether or not this is harmful aside (which I don't believe it is). This kid is going to keep killing it his entire life. A work ethic like that is what gets shit done. Nothing but respect for that. I wish kids would be encouraged more to become great at something early in their life.
