You'd think they would've learned from the widespread problems with the 360. Reports say it cost Microsoft One Billion Dollars fixing/replacing/repairing/warrantying the drive problems with the 360.

It shocks me that so many people who had problems with their 360 will buy an XBox One. Again, you'd think they would learn something from the problems of the last system.

This is one of the problems that we read or heard about, when hubby was deciding whether to go Xbox or PS, along with other things, it swayed our decision to go with PS...glad we did.

Disc drives have been around for many years and they still can't make one for XBox that is reliable? It's laughable.

Still going with Xbox. owned every one and only had one issue.

It also comes for trying to push the product out too soon. A lot of companies (not just the gaming industry either) these days are doing away with quality control, why? Because it is easier to let the users be their quality control group and put out updates and fixes to their problems rather than paying for preproduction quality testing.

Does it suck for the consumers? Hell yes! Does it work business? Of course, because they know they have a product people will want to buy even knowing that the first runs will have problems.

Told you all it was going to suck....

Go with the Sega MegaDrive, screw them all haha :thefinger:

By the way, its not actually a games console. Microsoft has stated that. Its an entertainment system that plays games.

If you're a gamer, your paying 450 for the novelty of being able to change the TV channel with your voice, and skype your friend from your living room who's doing the same thing, because OF COURSE, actually MEETING your friends in real life is over rated.....
