Lift question
 
was wondering something.


When I do squats, I feel really depleted after wards, as I suppose you should do.

The thing is though, because of my current level of fitness, which isn't very high since I've only been lifting for 4 months, means that this effects me pretty badly.

I feel really sick afterwards, and have to take 5-10 mins out depending on the severity. My breathing is pretty bad too, and I just feel like crap.
This doesn't go away completely for the whole workout either, even after I've rested,
So it hampers the rest of my lifts, meaning I don't perform as well as I should.


I was thinking, maybe I could do squats an hour before my actual workout.

I remember someone telling me on here that they often did half their workout, and then come back to do the rest later on.

This would imply that doing everything all at once, isn't a necessity.

Doing that one lift separate to the rest I think would make a huge difference to the rest of my workout.



My question isn't really what's causing the sickness, because I already know.

The question is, would doing that be an ok idea for now until my fitness improves?

Hell, I guess there's no reason not to if you have the time. What do you eat/take before lifting? For me having some carbs and caffiene makes all the difference in the world. I hit a wall really quickly if I don't have either right before I go at it.

Just a thought.

Id be more inclined to work through it. When i switched from 5/3/1 to 5x5 I was so tired I felt sick too, but after a while it got better. I rest quite a lot between sets too.

You should probably incorporate some cardio on your off days. I also need cardio, but I HATE it so much....
