How's my homemade weight gainer?

It's a blended shake with the following ingredients:
1 Large Banana
2 Cups Whole Milk
1 Cup Heavy Cream (extra calories for bulk)
1 Cup Oats
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Peanut Butter

With my busy schedule, I'll drink three a day along with a solid meal of chicken breast, sweet potato, and broccoli. Then some cottage cheese before bed for the casein protein. This is my first post here, so please go easy on me. Thanks for reading.

Edit: I've been reading around here and I love it. You guys are super cool, unlike over at bodybuilding.com.

Looks like a pretty solid shake. Try adding some protein powder to it, though.

Thanks a lot. I've just always been told to use real food and not to bother with supplements. It wouldn't hurt to add another scoop of peanut butter I guess.

Real, whole foods definitely take precedence over supplements, but in the end protein is protein and you gotta do whatever you gotta do to get it in by the end of the day.

Got it. Will do that then. Thanks.

Sure thing.

And welcome to the board.

Looks like a good shake. I agree with the protein powder if your not getting around 1g/lbs of bodyweight in a day.

Whey protein is the most superior source of protein. Having a whole food diet is great but the right supplements can really help with overall performance and health. Whey, fish oil and multi should be in every lifters pantry :)
