JOPP time to get serious
This is my first day doing 5x5 and my first training log.
Started off relatively light because I had to take a week off.
squat 5x5 @275
deadlift 1x5 @340
hamstring curls 4x8 @90
hypertension 50 total
abs 30 reps
Second day of doing 5x5 on the big 3.
Bench 5x5 @ 165
Seated OHP 100x10 115x6 135x5
DB rows 75x5 130x2
chin ups 50 total reps
tricep pushdowns 4 sets pyramid set
curls 3 sets pyramid set

Today's workout was mentally more difficult.
squat 5x5 @280
Deadlift** 225x1 315x1 365x1
single leg hamstring curls 3x15 @50
hyper-extension 60 total reps 3x20
**(switched from sumo to conventional and wanted to test strength and speed because my form was actually pretty good and smooth. Not maxing at all i had atleast another 20 and maybe even 30. There are plenty of workout coming before I do a max with the new form.)

low cable row 1x8 @240 (top set)
seated db overhead press 1x5 @65 4x8 @45
cgbp 3x10 @ 135
curls 3x8 @95
Best squat day so far on 5x5 moved the bar down. I guess I am low bar squatting now. My body feels more controlled and I feel stronger. No deadlifts today because my back felt unusably tired because of the low bar.
Lower Day (kind of):
Db rows 1x5@70 1x5@80 1x5@105 1x5@110 (heaviest dumbbell which was one of my many small goals.)
Hamstring curls 3x8@110
hypertension 75 total reps 3x25
hanging leg raises 3x12
This worK out was very good quick and to the point.
OHP 1x10@95 1x10@105 1x6@115
Chin ups 2 sets to failure 22 reps and 14 reps
PLYO push ups onto a 8 inch box and then back down 3x5.
Today was my last day of my summer job and a great workout.
cable crunches pyramid sets
finally got 2 plates on each side of the bar on the bench. I got lazy after and just messed around.
bench 185 for 2. 205 for 1. 225 for 1.
lat pulldown pyramid sets
lateral raises 3x10@30
cgbp 1x5@135 3x5@155
some crunches for fun.
Looking great. Keep hard at it.
