Just trying to get big (Diet Logs)
 
This will be the diet side of my training log, Just trying to get big. I've been posting my diet logs in that thread since post #1, but they're taking up too much space and distracting from the training log. Hence this complementary thread.

Please read post #1 of my training log if you want to know my goals/perspective/etc., although the log title and this article by miked96 should give you an idea of why I'm doing what I'm doing.

I won't be posting diet logs any more, at least for a while. I think we get the point: I'm eating plenty of protein and plenty of total calories. I get protein from many different sources, including meat, eggs, milk, nuts, whey powder, and grains. I don't neglect fats or dietary fiber, and I drink ridiculous amounts of water each day. I have no plans of changing my diet, so whatever percentages and patterns we've seen will be the same ones that repeat over and over until I stop trying to get big.

I drank pretty heavily Friday night and my appetite was weird yesterday, so I wanted to log to make sure I got an acceptable amount of protein. Immediately before bed Friday -- or actually, immediately before passing out! -- I'd had a big meal with steak & eggs, and I did a water fast until 2:00 pm yesterday. I really don't feel like drinking again for a while.

Just felt like doing one today. Been quite a while since I've logged in all my foods. Not surprised by how the balance & total calories turned out. I'd say today is pretty typical of how my diet's been recently. Today might've been some more calories than usual. I like the 33/33/33 balance. I feel better throughout the day and get all the macros I need.
