Deadlift December

Look for ideas for a "Deadlift December" challenge. It can be a single day, or complete month challenge.

Something like total weight moved for Dec?

As in volume/bodyweight, or something like that?

I was just thinking as a challenge, how much can you deadlift over the course of the month.

Shoot, for some in the fitness world, it would be a challenge just to do a deadlift.

That's why I mentioned total volume. Weight x reps. But if we go that way, it would be fair to factor in bodyweight somehow. Or base it off 1RM, which might be easier.

I wish I could play...but not yet. But my comment would be to include BW or reps, or whatever. Because most of us could very easily pull 135 nearly everyday for 50-100 reps, providing a large but not truly honest number when it comes to deadlifitng.

If it were done over the course of a solid month, I think a good percentage of people would fall off within the first few days because that's a long haul and people will become disinterested.

Truth. I would. Busy month. Thanks :)

I vote for a general challenge rather than one against each other.
