Thanks. I am pretty surprised at the raw ones. They look light.

They are only Elite totals right now. I think they are going to set the standard after the Pro Am.

This type of discussion has been played out a lot, in the end I don't think these are supposed to be 'best of' targets. But they are very respectable numbers that you could achieve with a lot of hard work and some luck. A 198lbs lifter would be expected to lift in the region of:

Squat: 550
Bench: 350
Dead: 580

Far from impossible but still enough to set him apart from most lifters, especially at a trim 198lbs.

I agree those totals are enough to set you apart. I got confused when they were listed as pro totals. I dont pay alot of attention to that stuff because there are so many federations with different standards and judging. I apologize if I came off as arrogant. It was not my intention.

Nah not at all mate, don't worry about that

But I agree those raw numbers look a little light (relatively speaking) to the geared ones.

I need to shut up. I still need twenty more pounds to reach the established level anyway. All those are really good numbers and are realistic targets. At least its not something like 1900 for a 220 which wouldn't even be a realistic target for 99.99999% of people. I dont have a better answer so those are good to go!
