Looking for a no bullshit gym in Iowa?
 

I havent been around much, dealing with a lot of personal issues including a death in the family etc. However, I haven't atopped training, and I hope to take some time tonight to catch up on some logs and posts I have been missing! Here are a couple videos from our gym. One is a promo and the other one is a PR I hit last week. Figured I would share something.

Couple more videos from the gym, Carlo Brewster, currently a 275lb national A.D. record holder. He has done over 600 in competition since this video was shot, but here was when he was first getting used to a 600lb squat.

I have to find the competition videos. 6 of us from ANVIL gym competed in the November UPA competition, Iron Battle on the Mississippi.

Any of you guys doing the July meet?

Yes, and I guess Iron Battle was in March, the November one was the Power Weekend. I am doing July and I think there are a few others as well. :rockon: We have a couple competing in Nationals in April as well. I will be up there for that, not competing however since I had been doing deadlift only competitions and therefor did not have a qualifying total. For those of you that have never been to a UPA event, it is very worth it, Carpenter puts on some of the best meets in powerlifting.
