Bottom line, I feel diet is important but I still think training is more important. Train frequently and use progression and you'll make headway with a decent diet. |

I've trained on average 10 times each week for the past 3 weeks. I've shown no restraint on what I eat and my weight hasn't increased, my daily calorie intake is massively higher compared to what I was eating in the summer. Multiple daily sessions are quite good. I'm all for them if you can get the time, having a home gym is a big bonus here. |

I started off doing light stuff in the morning but it just wasn't appealing or taxing. So I restrict myself to Overhead work and Dynamic Pulls in the mornings, basically stuff that I don't do in the evenings so there's no overlap. I'm also pretty crap at Overhead stuff and Fast Pulls so I'm guessing that helps me recover due my max weights there being so light, haha! Only problem at the moment is my hands are getting roughed up as I'm pulling 6 days a week now. Apart from that though, I'm loving it. I feel like going out and pulling some power cleans right now, even though it's supposed to be my day off. |

![]() Would love to do a bunch of sessions a week but wary of messing myself up. Taking a deload this week because the last week has been subpar. My fault due to silliness and thinking I was stronger/more capable of handling heavy weight than I actually am. I'd like something that involves no power rack in the morning (or no more than 1-2 times a week) cos there are so many wankers in my gym in the morning who like to do curls and other assorted bullshit at that time. |

Haha, you Leicester lads are a bit fancy aren't ya!
If it's no power rack then you can't go wrong with Clean & Press, or Clean & Push Press or Curl & Press. Power Cleans and Power Snatches as well. My evening sessions are basically just variations of the Squat, Bench and Deadlift. So for the mornings fast pulls and overhead work works well. I would also do light Squats but with my knee issues at the moment I don't think that's a good idea. Perhaps try Clean and Press or Snatches and maybe top off with some ab work. Hit it and quit it. |

![]() I love me some clean and press and all compounds. Trying to add in RDL's, rack pulls, cleans and Good Mornings. Maybe double sessions are the best way. Perhaps do some dynamic work in the mornings to work on speed. And anything that helps my squat is welcome. I'm gonna make my way to the increasing strength thread! |

What is that, and should we be afraid?
