Thanks! Good advice. I figured it would be something I have to figure out for myself, but now I have some specific things to look for. I think what's making it difficult right now is the routine I'm doing. It's pretty much going heavy all the time. After doing a 5x5 for a while where one day a week was always fairly light (HLM), this is just a whole other animal. There's no "easy" days.

A smart man once told me that I can only get marginally stronger in a week, but I can get significantly weaker by not taking one off. If you think you need time off, take it, relight the fire and spirit, then come back and crush weights.
