My question is I have never used knee wraps before and if anyone could recommend any? If the max is 3.5 I would also like to take full advantage of that. I have also been looking for a good starter belt. I read through the belt sticky but still not sure which one would be right for me. If this helps I am a close/shoulder width highbar squatter. |

I have inzer iron z wraps. I've only used them a few times, but they're brutal...
I use a 10mm inzer lever blet, i love it! Get you one! |

My custom Crain belt was solid.
Only thing I learned from buying a belt is that changes in weight gain can make a big difference. Don't overspend if you plan on adding 15-20 pounds or more during the coming years.

Edit: Might go instead with economy belt from inzer. Last edited by mab54; 12-11-2011 at 11:59 AM. |

good to know. i haven't bought anything, and i lift completely raw now, but i think about the evolution of equipment i'll need before long from time to time.

I usually am completely raw but in this federation they allow wraps in there raw, so might as well take the advantage.

i agree completely. i will eventually use all the gear necessary to progress and compete when the time comes. i'm not far advanced yet, and i'm deployed now, so raw is my only option for now.

I would recommend Inzer True Black or Metal All Black wraps. 2.5m is usually the longest you can use.
As far as belts go, a Toro power belt or Inzer Forever belt is a good choice. 10mm are a bit easier to break in than a 13mm. |

I really like the way both of these look, and have read a lot of good reviews about both.
