Here's how my conversation goes with my wife:

Wife: What do you want for Christmas, socks?

Bearded One: A new man chair, to be honest. This one has seen better days.

Wife: Ha! Ha! Ha! Too expensive.

Bearded One: What? I am not worth $400?

Wife: What do you really want, a gift card to Waldenbooks?

Bearded One: How about a beater pickup truck. That's only a couple hundred, and will help me with the honey do list.

Wife: Ha! Ha! Ha! Too expensive.

Bearded One: A PS3?

Wife: Ha! Ha! Ha!

Bearded One: Just get me a lot of socks...
