I found this article on Diesel Crew, the videos are all in French, but there are some pretty cool exercises in it. Quote:

You know, this stuff is just fascinating to me as a historian, but honestly as a person looking to gain size and strength now, stuff like this means little.
It reminds me of the Valerie Borzov days when there was an idea of a Russian machine. Find a perfect physical type, then teach a perfect routine and perfect technique and voila, you have a champion. Turns out, Borzov had a singular focus and worked his ass off. Even then, his records were thrashed by specimens like Carl Lewis, etc. I'd just as soon say this Swiss goomba did the same thing. He was world champion in spite of all the foolishness he had to go through, and monster physical specimens like Cantwell, etc. have just laid the science to the wayside. Human determination will always beat science. Book it. Just a thought! My 02. Sorry, can't help being a sceptic. |
