I guess another good question would be...how much do I need. I want to overload the top end for some 6x3 squat sets, and have the top end be close, or have the capability to be close to my 1RM.
Perhaps 75 at the top each side?

sounds like a decent start. May be a bit easy for ya. What percent of your 1rm are you going to be working with before the addition of chains?

I'd love to use chains, if for the noise and appearance if nothing else. Nothing would make a gym sound like a GYM more than rattling chains, death metal being blasted and support being yelled.

So I imagine 350-360 in the hole plus chains. (Thinking out loud)

Um drop to approx 75-80% 1RM then ad the 150lbs of chains. Would be similar to an overload on high box I would think.
Please no flaming, Ive never trained with chains, just bands.
