The future depth requirement for world multiply squat records.

not saying i can squat 1265...just saying that the weight on the bar isn't the only difference between these squats: http://i.imgur.com/jOk6j.png |
It looks really high from the front, but so do must geared squats. Not hateing on gear but it is a lot easier to go ass to grass without it.
|
DT squat looked higher than the one I saw in MB. With that being said, if the judge said it was down, no point in complaining. Was good 2-1.
Would love to see Henry Thomason's 1270 attempt. |

It looked a tad high to me as well, but the side judges would have definitely had a better view.

I never understand the new tradition of calling depth on internet videos. With the best will in the world, we are unlikely to see exactly what the judges saw especially as most videos are called from the front. Donnie went down and came back up with an obscene weight. The judges watched this and said it complied with the rules. This should be enough. He's squatting low enough for the judges, not the internet.

I agree with you it did look higher than the one in myrtle beach but we were also there in person and got a way better view because we were real close. Also your right no point in complaining and if i was to guess most people that complain have never done a powerlifting meet and arent even powerlifters so why do they care anyway? Everyone is a critic! |
