Default Olympic Lift Equivalents

I'm fairly ignorant about Olympic lift numbers. Any idea of what a power clean equivalent of a natural 500 deadlift and 400 squat would be?

I'm trying to set a modest power clean goal.

I'm no expert either, but I'd imagine anything approaching a 300 lb clean would be very good.

Having a 300 lb clean is very impressive for someone who doesn't focus their training around olympic lifts.

Following the 500/400 "standard" I'd put the power clean somewhere around 300 as well... maybe a bit lower. Hard to say since the power clean isn't really a competition lift.

I need to research Olympic lifting a bit. Not sure if it's easy to find numbers for both natural and "supplemented" like it is in bodybuilding and powerlifting.

I don't imagine there are many splintered natural federations/meets?

just think..if you can power clean 300lbs just imagine how much motor units you got working all at once, and how much motor units you able to recruit.

I've been thinking all week.

My erectors (watch it, didn't say erections) are so large from deadlifting that I feel motivated to build my upper back up even more, along with my deadlift numbers of course.

I'm hoping the Olympic lifts can help.

Pretty sure Starr had it down at 300lbs as well, when he was figuring a 400 squat and 300 bench.

Just watch the hammies with the P.Cleans, they're pretty hamstring dominant and it's a quick movement. Not a great combo if you're carrying an injury.
