How do people get into strongman training?

It's a subject that's I've seen come up before and people generally don't know where to start or who to speak to about strongman based training workouts, routines and such.

I'd suggest contacting the NAS state chair and ask them if there are any training crews in your area. If so, contact them and ask if you can train with them.
