Straight ahead with my eyes up, not so much my head staring into the cold black heart of the head judge or d-bags bro pressingly in my gym on the loser benches across hte squat rack where it takes a team effort to row and imaginary 5 board press 225lbs for reps. Always away from the mirror.

head up and eyes up... sometimes on lower sets i will look straight ahead in the mirror to see if im hitting depth... but if i do this on heavier weight it ****s up my form

I look at my own ugly mug in the mirror, with a slight head tilit up. I find that helps to keep from leaning forward too far. The rack I use at my gym is right in front of a mirror wall, and at home I have a mirror I stick in front of me. I find the look of pain and struggle actually motivates me to get that damn weight up, again and again. Then some more...
