However, I'm in the middle of a moving process, and I won't be able to have access to a gym for a week, which is kind of making me anxious, seeing as I just started to get things rolling with Madcows. So...how bad would it be to take that week off? I could do super light stuff, but it would be mostly circuit-style/conditioning work, since I won't have any big weights or anything. Thoughts?

Write it off as a deload and keep your life moving.
It'll be good for you, its not going to set you back at all

Yea now and then it is a good thing, and it feels great too. You come back more pumped and rejuvinated than ever before. Look at it as a positive more than anything, because in reality it really is if you have been training hard for awhile

The weight lifting gods frown upon such things.
All kidding aside, I agree with Kris & Marc.

Good advice here so far. You are also transitioning from going all out on a figure show to a PL routine. A week of relaxing should do you good.
But then again moving has never been relaxing...

I understand your frustration. You just started the madcows. Take the week to deal with real life, then get back to it. Repeat the week you were on. Its all good. As you get deeper into this you'll look forward to these little breaks and begin to ask yourself, "When CAN I take a week off?"

Well alright, just checking. I just hate taking time off from the gym when I'm psyched out about my routine, heh. I just thought it was pretty pointless deloading at the beginning of my program, but I don't have much choice there.
Hopefully I'll come back stronger.

My last week off was during the last few final exams this year and then I went away for a weekend up the country. Was a nice time out of gym, my body felt more relaxed, that was about 6-7 weeks ago I say, good to have one every few months in my opinion.
