Hyperextensions
I've been seeing hyperextensions in people logs alot and i was wondering what the benefit of doing them is? Should I incorporate them in my routine?

they will also help your squats by strengthening your hamstrings and your lower back, they are a good exercise, I usually throw a couple sets of them in when I do ab work. I use them as more of a core workout

I did hyperextensions for many years, early in my lifting years. They always left me crazy sore.
I prefer wide stance good mornings hands down for deadlift strength. Not saying good mornings are better for everyone, but I just like the overall strength boost they add to the posterior chain. Hyperextensions will definitely help with deadlift though. |
