Good news:
I got the 235! Wooo! ![]() Bad news: My hamstring strength is absolutely sh*tty. My lockout was solid, and I had perfect form, UNTIL I started pulling from the floor. And we all know that when the body has a weak area, the stronger area will compensate to lift the weight - in this case, my upper back/lower back is my strong point, and my hamstrings aren't...hence the lack of proper leg drive. It is also because of a few other possible reasons: 1) I've been in a calorie deficit for 8.5 weeks. 2) I have lost strength from contest prep training/conditioning 3) Lack of my "psyching" music (mp3 broke )I guess I'll try not to beat myself up too much about it - at least I know I can pull it!! Time for some accessory work, it seems. HOWEVER, I did get a very nice comment from the strongest guy in my gym after I finished my deadlift...it was the first time he ever spoke to me, for the entire 7+ months I've been at the gym, and he told me he was really impressed, and that he never saw a girl, much less a girl my size, pull that much. So it made me feel a little better.

Way to go!! You realize that you're outpulling alot of guys on this board. Myself included. True, our numbers may be bigger, but as a percentage of bodyweight, it's not even close. I'm most proud of you, kid.
