Default whats the caffeine ansd sugars doing to me

I drink a lot of dr.pepper and mountain dew a day. It usually looks like 1/2 gallon water in the mornin 3 dr.pepper and 3 mountain dew a day with 1/2 gallon milk at night. I need to know if this will stop my gains once i get back liftin if so ill get off the soft drinks in a hurry.

I wouldnt really say its going to hinder your gains much, probably sending your bloodsugar levels for a rollercoaster ride though.

Why don't you just cut all those unnecessary calories out? It will definitely help with keeping bodyfat levels down.

Yeah, you're going to want to keep your body as sensitive to insulin as possible and by continuously drinking pop all day, it hinders your ability to respond to insulin better, particularly after a workout. In other words, despite physical fitness, chronically high insulin will decrease sensitivity over time. You may not notice it now, but it will affect you in the future. Maybe someone can elaborate more, but that's always been my take on it.

It won't stop your gains but over time all this sugar will start to mess up your body and teeth. Take care of what you have while you're young...because when you hit 35+ life changes dramatically and you'll want to feel as good as possible.
