I didn't get to try the Romaleos, but I've heard they are a fantastic shoe. A buddy of mine LOVES them.

I own a pair of the Adidas AdiPowers, same price range as the Romaleo 2's. I fucking LOVE them. I lifted in another pair of Oly shoes (Adidas Adistars, I think) for awhile before getting the AdiPowers. My god, the difference. They're stable, provide amazing support, perfect 0.75" heel. I can't say enough good things about them.

Just to weigh in here, I would recommend something other than the Reebok's if you're planning on using them strictly for lifting. The platform is not as solid as the traditional shoes because they are meant to be worn throughout a workout.

I have Pendlay's and absolutely love them. Break in period takes a little bit but after that they are super comfortable and give me the stability I need. They are also a bit cheaper on the wallet than the AdiPowers and Nike's.

I was just turned on to Max Barbell. They have a nice selection under $100 that quite a few of my friends swear by.
