Building a Deadlift Platform
I need to build a deadlift platform. Ideas?
|
I just use 3/4" horse stall mats. It works great. Protects the floor extremely well. Since u are a monster deadlifter you may consider bolting the mats to some plywood for added protection.

They should be good until you get your dead lift over 1500! |
Does it need to be moved?
|
you mean the rubber mats?

I'll need to be able to move it out of the way after each time i use it, since it will be in the garage and the fiance likes to park in there. thanks for the ideas folks, looks like I'll be running by the hardware store in the next day or two

Use pine, then when you slam the weights down it'll smash and you'll feel like you lifted a mountain ;)
