Default Floor Presses

So what do ya'll do with em? Max effort movement, tricep assist,I've even heard of them being done for speed work. Flat back or arch?

I've been treating them as a max bench variation, arching my back and still have a little less ROM. Sort of like a poor mans 2 board.

I think of it like a box squat for my bench. Legs flat on the floor so you can't cheat, set your normal arch as best you can, slight pause at the bottom and then drive up. Great exercise to use with chains or even bands. Bands are particularly brutal as there's no appreciable deload with the shorter ROM. I have also used them with Fat Gripz for reps as assistance.

Sounds good to me. Bands and chains on the wish list.
