If you'll look around the interwebs for shoulder mobility stuff, you should find lots of movements that will make a difference. I had shoulder issues from football as a teenager, but now, through addressing the issues and strengthening the muscles and tendons, my shoulders are good to go and stronger than ever.
Don't be afraid to bring up any and all issues you have, even if you aren't sure if it's a big deal. There's a ton of experience running around this forum, and we all want to help any way possible.

Yeah, a video would help a lot on the shoulder thing.
As far as front squats, I love them! I usually will do fronts up to a certain weight and then continue progression with back squats. |

Front squats are a fantastic full body exercise. However, for most people, they really need an investment of time to get the movement right. Consequently, a lot of lifters either avoid them completely, or can't use enough weight to really get much out of them.

Just my take....
I think the back squat is a superior overall lower body muscle and strength developer when compared to front squats. While I believe the front squat is great for the quads and core, it doesn't engage the hams and hips like the back squat does. And of course the back squat also hits the quads and core. So, to sum my opinion up, I would say back squats are a very benefical movement that you should take the time and effort to learn how to properly do. They have what I would consider increased overall lower body benefit over front squats. Having said all that, I think front squats are a great movement. I personally find them more natural than back squats. And besides the obvious quad benefit, I find this them to be one of if not the best abdominal exercise that I have ever done.
