Great work, whats next on the menu? Going to keep lifting at 165 even if you get into the low 180s?

I need to make weight in the 165 class for Raw Unity on Feb 23rd, or they won't let me compete. After that, I don't know. I really want to stretch it out as long as I can, but it's getting more difficult with each meet. If I don't pull at least 600 @ 165, before moving up, I would be somewhat disappointed.

I understand that completely. You have that pull in you for sure. The cut has to take a toll on you. I have cut the same about of weight, but its alot easier when your fat! Surprised you didn't get some cramping issues. Looking forward to checking out your plan for the Raw Unity meet.

I think the cut might've had a small effect on my strength, but not too much. I still got 5lb meet PRs in each lift, before failing 10lbs more in both the bench and dead, which were my gym PRs for each of those two.

I wasn't cramping during the meet. That stopped around when I started drinking and eating, after making weight. I made weight much later than I intended, but still managed to cram plenty of fluids and food into my body before going to bed. Probably not as much as I normally would've done, compared to the two previous meets, because it took longer to make weight, but still a good amount.

My last one I dont think I ever got my weight fully back on. I need to be me careful and have a better plan as far as what to intake after my cut.
