Exclamation Bench training during MCL tear?

how would I go about training my bench, because I suffered a MCL tear in my knee and start rehab tomorrow....just wondering how I would go along training my bench while I get rehab?

I guess if it were me I would probably do a lot of limp-legged benching, rowing, curling, etc. Build or maintain strength in any way you can. Possibly just ram the upper body rep work.

It is a tear, and they only have you doing rehab? I would think they should go in and fix that? Best of luck, and I hope it heals quickly!!!!!

As far as benching, I benched a week after I nearly had my whole knee repaired. I just took a chair, put my let in the chair (it was still locked in a brace) and put the other foot on the floor. Used no leg drive and benched Make it happen!!

Welcome to the injury club mate and I hope you heal up quickly. I like JB's idea of just resting your foot up in a chair and doing legless benching.

I was going to suggest not using the one leg as well but I like this idea, stops any use of the leg completely (even though you had no choice with a brace ).
