I would say power cleans. I'm really just stealing my opinion from Bill Starr. In his book "Strongest Shall Survive" he says if you can only do one movement do power cleans.
Having said that, the Whole clean and press idea that has been brought up in this thread makes a lot of sense.

Dan John once said; if he had done nothing but a single clean and then press for reps, he'd probably be just as strong as he is today with a host of other exercises.

With the jerk, you'd use more leg drive and little to no arm/shoulder power to move the weight, so, in theory, it's still mostly a lower body exercise, in that respect.

Now see, if we add in heavy, awkward objects that changes things in a big way.
I still think the deadlift in some form would edge out, though.
