I would say power cleans. I'm really just stealing my opinion from Bill Starr. In his book "Strongest Shall Survive" he says if you can only do one movement do power cleans.

Having said that, the Whole clean and press idea that has been brought up in this thread makes a lot of sense.

What about the clean and jerk? Is that where you clean , front squat and press? I've seen different variations.

With the jerk, you'd use more leg drive and little to no arm/shoulder power to move the weight, so, in theory, it's still mostly a lower body exercise, in that respect.
