I agree, I can be in the gym up to an hour and a half somedays. But, I'm there to train and I don't leave until I'm done. And if I dont have time for everything, I just focus on the main lifts.

One of my issues with the length of training time has always been the fact that people working out at home generally have to continually set-up and shift stuff around, on a much more regular basis than people at a gym, and that setting up and moving stuff into and out of the way can take a lot of extra time, some days.

I agree with the guy in the vid, you stay until you get stuff done; and for home gymers, try and work things around so that during each session there is the least shifting about of stuff as possibly.

Good point. When I have to tear down a 120 pound dumbbell and turn it into a 45 pound dumbbell, or swap from deadlifts to squats, I;m down for at least 10 minutes.

Good point made by Darden. You shouldn't be concerned with the amount of time spent in the gym. Just complete the objectives for the day, regardless of the duration. That's basically how I've been training for as long as I can remember.
