Default Jefferson Lift, anyone?

So, the Jefferson Lift. Does it offer any advantages over the regular deadlift? Anyone with any experience with Jeffersons have any thoughts? I've read that some people actually find themselves stronger in the Jefferson (as the bar is closer to the midline of the body and kind of similar to a trap bar deadlift), but I don't know anyone with any real experience in it.
