We all have limits to what impress us and what doesn't. To the average "gym rat"(tee hee) maybe a 330 lbs dl is impressive. Also, most average "gym rats" are young and not used to seeing us "older gym rats" moving much weight at all. I get a group of H.S. kids peeking in the bench room when I load the bar. They all stand outside the door and watch. Most of them have never seen that much weight on a bar, let alone by someone over 50.

This did give me a chuckle. I can see why they would think this. I've never seen anyone over 50 squat or deadlift.
