His 54321 is really a heavy warm up ladder, after those sets you do one max rep set. You use the same weight on the rep out set 2 weeks in a row, if you beat your previous week's reps than you move on to the next week in the cycle. If not you repeat.

Each week the 54321 weights increase, but the rep out weight only changes every two weeks.

Stalling on his strength template doesn't look likely(currently runnign it now) if you are reasonable in your goals.

You pick an end number and run the first month with 85% of it, the second month wth 93% of it.

Eventually within the cycle you work up to 95% of your max and then do a back off set.

But at that point in your cycle, your max should probably have gone up a bit.
