Glad to. The last boy his age I worked with (Cody) now in low 20's, pulls a car around the block as a warm up, while staying natural per respect for his parents wish's.

I seen the same drive in Alec's eyes as I see in Cody's eyes. Just needs the proper guidance and passionates.

What struck me this weekend was the impact of passion. We often think kids are lazy and don't want to work hard, but I'm noticing more as a parent that they are drawn to passion. People who are passionate or excited about what they do really seem to pull kids in.

Both of these kids have little interest in sports or physical activity. I never thought in a thousand years they would like powerlifting. I never push it on them.

I guess whatever we do in life, we have to pick one thing to try to be amazing at. Not just for us, but for the kids. I think they want to be amazing themselves, and see possibilities.
