Default Protein powders

If I make a protein shake, how many scoops of the powder can I add? Can I double it up to get more protein and make me gain weight faster?

Use one or two scoops at a time. Heck, I've used three scoops at a time before. Typically you'd want to get 50 grams per serving and use a couple of servings a day to supplement an already wholesome diet.

If you mix with water, 1 at a time. If you use milk, you can use more. With just water, the whey will be turned to sugar via gluconeogenesis in the liver if you go for much more than 20g. Not all of it, but no reason to waste it.

I agree. I usually mix mine with milk, so if you do this, the go ahead and add two.

The action of actually doubling the protein serving, would not make you gain weight; however, if this double portion size is among the calorie content in which numerically causes you to be above your Mt-Line, then yes it can lead to weight gain--if you create a "dietary trend history of days" that are numerically consistent.
